The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce  (CCB) is a non-profit organization that promotes the economic and business development of Bogotá and its neighboring municipalities, offering advisory, training, and commercial promotion services, among others.

Despite its primary role of supporting entrepreneurs and offering a robust range of services to them, the CCB was mostly recognized for its business registration function, thought of as a public entity, and was perceived as supporting only big companies and established business people.

Repositioning the brand and organizing its complex portfolio of services and programs

We undertook a repositioning effort, revising the brand architecture and segmenting and reorganizing its entire service portfolio.  We defined guidelines for managing the brand across all services and redesigned its identity and its messaging, making it more relatable and accessible to small business owners.  We also provided a complete toolkit to live on their communication materials, especially in digital environments.

The result has been an organization whose offering is more organized and clearer, and that has the tools and language to talk to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Revitalizing an iconic brand

While preserving the heritage, we adjusted the symbol, the typography and the color of one of the most recognized logos in Colombia to give it a fresh and enhanced digital presence.

A system that embodies progress

A new strategy called for a visual system that was modular, versatile, and straightforward, effectively conveying the new values of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota. The keyword: Development.

Focusing on the entrepreneurs’ greatest aspirations for their businesses, we designed a visual system that, through modular elements and a simple compositional logic, explicitly speaks about progress.
